Any Seasonal Local Rules that apply will be posted here.
1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18.2)
a) On or beyond roads or paths defining the boundaries of the courses including internal roads (1st, 8th, 15th 17th & 18th).
b) On or to the left of the 2nd fairway when playing the 3rd hole.
c) On or beyond the 13th fairway when playing the 16th hole.
d) Beyond the white stakes around the practice area to the right of the 12th green,17th and 18th.
2. OBSTRUCTIONS
i Movable obstructions (Rule 15)
Fairway direction posts.
ii Immovable obstructions (Rule 16.1b)
a) 150 yard fairway discs.
b) All sprinkler boxes.
c) Waste bins, hole information boards and ball washers.
d) Warning bell posts.
e) All stone/tarmac roads, gravel and block paths on the course other than the road referred to in 1b.
f ) Cross country jump on the 1st.
3. PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES
If a staked tree or a tree that is less than 2m high interferes with a player’s stance or area of intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure described in Rule 16.1f.
4. PENALTY AREA (Rule 17)
Yellow penalty areas marked with (yellow lines or yellow stakes) (Rules 17.1d(1) and (2)).
Red penalty areas marked with (red lines or red stakes) Rule 17.1d(3)).
PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULES 1-4:
Match Play - Loss of Hole; Stroke Play - Two Strokes.
